Fortum commissions first utility-scale wind farm in Ulyanovsk Reg

MOSCOW, Jan 17 (PRIME) -- Power producer Fortum Russia, a local unit of Finnish Fortum, has commissioned a 35 megawatt (MW) utility-scale wind farm in the Ulyanovsk Region, the Corporation for the Development of the Ulyanovsk Region said in a statement on Wednesday.

In November, Rusnano and Fortum were reported to be planning to build a 65 million euro 35 MW wind power plant in the region.
